The opportunity to learn how to write grants and projects becomes available to the Kharkov citizens. The school of social project design and grant-winning Open Grants School has proved its viability. It gives the opportunity to pass training for everybody for the second straight year. Selection of participants takes place on the basis of application forms before the beginning of spring. However, in most cases, training is provided for representatives of non-governmental organization (NGO), but the School is opened for general public. This year about 300 people applied for participation, of which 100 lucky ones were selected.
The first lesson pleased not only the welcoming word of the founders, but it was also useful thanks information about “Modern information and communication technologies (ICT) which is necessary for the preparation and implementation of projects.” Speaker is Artem Konovalov, program director of the NGO “Center for Community Development”, co-founder of the Hub of social activity “Studio 42”. Artem through play and learning informed the audience about modern know-how in the field of technical methods of project management, plotting and creating infographics, line surveys, working with open data, e-gov services and the basics of Internet marketing.
At the end of the course, students will be able to submit their project to the trainers and pass the crash test. At the same time, the participants will not have to postpone knowledge. In parallel with the Open Grants School, the City Competition of Innovative Investment and Image Projects will start.
