STEP UKRAINE “VIP” ONLINE TRAINING & COMPETITION

The project team of Antistress Application took part in STEP Ukraine “VIP” Online Training & Competition, which lasted from November 2017 to March 2018. STEP’s program of scientific and technical entrepreneurship helps scientists and inventors to turn their ideas into business projects and to learn the skills of writing startup proposals.

As part of the CRDF Global Technology Entrepreneurship course, the team leaders had the opportunity to learn and work with useful course materials in the Moodle system, as well as to join an experience of international experts in the construction and design of startup proposals. The training took the form of English-language online webinars with the opportunity to communicate with experts. There are topics in the field of IT entrepreneurship: Idea Validation/Value Proposition, Paths to Success, IP Strategies, Fundraising strategies. Teams have formed their business proposals and working plans of the project for investors.

CRDF Global is an independent non-profit organization that was founded in 1995 by the decision of the US Congress. It promotes international scientific and technical cooperation through a provision of grants, technical resources, programs and services.

In Ukraine, CRDF Global is actively working since 1996. There are programs as “Сollaborative Ukraine-American Scientific and Research Projects”, “Scientific and Technical Entrepreneurship”, “Cooperation in Research and Education”, “Supporting International Research and Educational Cooperation “.

During these years the Foundation has:

  • Allocated about $ 28 million US dollars to support scientific programs and projects;
  • Provided more than 300 research grants;
  • Supported more than 4,400 scientists;
  • Attracted more than 100 scientific research institutes and universities to cooperation;
  • Conducted innovative forums and trainings in most regional centers and ensured the provision and development of entrepreneurial skills for more than 1,600 participants;
  • Created 120 partner teams between scientists and entrepreneurs.
