TRAINING CENTER “CHAMELEON” ON THE BASIS OF THE NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF CIVIL PROTECTION OF UKRAINE (NUCPU)

ТРЕНИНГОВЫЙ ЦЕНТР «ХАМЕЛЕОН» НА БАЗЕ НАЦИОНАЛЬНОГО УНИВЕРСИТЕТА ГРАЖДАНСКОЙ ЗАЩИТЫ УКРАИНЫ (НУГЗУ)

With the support of the ARKI-GROUP, within the framework of the development of Cyberpsychology in Ukraine, a project of the modified training hall “Chameleon” based on NUCPU with using of artificial reality technology was developed. There are projecting large-format video on a wall-screen, audio tracking of projection and control of light effects. It makes possible to conduct trainings of different formats: psychological preparation, education and rehabilitation.

The equipment of the hall with a replaceable configuration allows to implement psychological training in a safe environment of artificial reality.

3 HALL MODES:

Mode №1 «Crash room»:

The screen broadcasts video of extreme situations, the lighting of the hall adjusts for creation of the effect of immersion in an emergency situation, the audio system reproduces the sounds of the tragedy: explosions, shootings, fire, accident, etc.

Tasks:

– psychological preparation for an emergency situation;

– formation of stress resistance;

– treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD);

– training in providing Psychological First Aid (PFA) for victims and for self-help.

Mode №2 «Relax room»:

The video of nature (forest, sea) and space (abstract figures, stars) broadcasts on the screen, lighting of the hall adjusts for creation of the effect of immersion in a relaxing atmosphere, the audio system reproduces the sounds of the surf, the rustle of leaves, soothing music, birds singing etc ..

Tasks:

– reducing of psychological stress;

– treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD);

– restoration (recovery of psychological resources);

– withdrawal of psychosomatic blocks.

Mode №3 «Conference room»:

The screen broadcasts presentations and video lectures for the training of participants in the cyberpsychology, Crisis, Disaster and Trauma Psychology.

Tasks:

– training in providing Psychological First Aid (PFA) in an emergency situation;

– conducting preliminary psychological testing;

– determination of schemes of psychological work in an emergency situation.
